A Kenyan mineral enterprise with roots back to a 2015 miners’ association, incorporated as INFO MEMA LTD in 2026 to work with international partners.
Origin
INFO MEMA began in 2015 as The Investment Federation of Medium and Macro Artisanal Miners Association, registered as INFO MEMA under Business Registration No. BN/2015/379829. That was a business-name-level registration tied to artisanal-mining federation activity — the origin of the name, and of the relationships with artisanal mining communities that the company still works with today.
To work with international partners, the business was incorporated as a private limited company between March and September 2026, resulting in INFO MEMA LTD, registration number PVT-MP7TWY7Y. These are two distinct facts, not one blurred history: INFO MEMA has continuity back to a 2015 association, but the entity contracting internationally today is a newly incorporated company.
Mission
Kenyan mineral production is aggregated and sold as raw ore today, with most of its value captured elsewhere once it leaves the country. INFO MEMA exists to change that sequence.
That starts with aggregating ore from licensed artisanal-mining cooperatives into commercial-grade parcels, and builds toward the processing infrastructure that turns that ore into refined metal before it leaves Kenya.
The value-chain vision
The flagship expression of that mission is the Kitui copper project: land leased and being fenced, an ore crusher already on site, ore purchasing from licensed cooperatives already underway, and a beneficiation facility in development with an EPC vendor engaged. Aggregation is real today; beneficiation and cathode production are what the company is building toward — stated in that order, deliberately, rather than presented as equally accomplished.
