What we do
Three ways we move Kenyan minerals from the ground to the market — honestly staged by where each one stands.
Mineral Aggregation & Trading
INFO MEMA sources ore from licensed artisanal-mining cooperatives and aggregates it into commercial-grade parcels rather than trading each pit’s output separately — this is the operating business today.
Beneficiation & Processing
The Kitui facility under development will convert aggregated ore into higher-value cathode product on site; land is leased and being fenced, an EPC vendor is engaged, construction has not yet started.
Other Ventures
INFO MEMA’s origin as a federation of artisanal-mining associations informs a small set of adjacent, selectively pursued activities in the wider minerals sector, introduced without overstating their current scale.
Flagship project
Kitui: leased, fenced, and already buying ore.
Ten acres off the Mombasa–Kitui road are secured and being fenced. A crusher is already on site, and ore purchasing from licensed artisanal cooperatives is underway — ahead of the beneficiation plant itself.
Grade figures are stated as a blended average from assay data, with the fuller geological picture due at the end of the survey.
Sustainability & communities
Raw ore leaves once. Processed value can leave twice as far — and pay Kenya on the way.
Purchasing from licensed cooperatives brings informal ore production into a documented, traceable supply chain rather than displacing it.
Beneficiation in Kitui, once built, is the mechanism that keeps a larger share of the mineral’s value in-country rather than exporting unprocessed ore.
Kitui is being built in stages. We’re looking for the right partners to build alongside.
INFO MEMA is engaging selectively with qualified investors, offtake partners, and institutional counterparties on the Kitui project. Detailed commercial material — resource data, project economics, partnership structure — is shared under NDA after a short qualification step, not published openly.
